The following documents are intended to be viewed and read in conjunction with my piece \u2018Art and Architecture Towards Political Crises: The 1937 Paris International Exposition in Context\u2019<\/a>. They consist of pictures and videos documenting the Paris exposition; images of prominent artworks connected to and on display\u00a0during the exposition, including art by Pablo Picasso,\u00a0Fernand L\u00e9ger, Raoul Dufy, Joan Mir\u00f3, and Alexander Calder; and exposition memorabilia, in the way of posters, ticket stubs, and maps. There are architectural images, details, and drawings related to the exposition; and pictures and plans depicting the course of those grandiose architectural projects devised through the 1930s by Boris Iofan and Albert Speer \u2013 the chief architects, respectively, of Stalin\u2019s Soviet Union and Hitler\u2019s Nazi Germany. More, I have included Paul \u00c9luard\u2019s 1938 poem \u2018La Victoire de Guernica\u2019 (\u2018The Victory of Guernica\u2019); and Alain Resnais\u2019s 1950 film short, Guernica<\/em>.<\/p>\n
