Mustafa struggles to bury a taste for vengeance on his debut <em>When Smoke Rises<\/em>, Mereba rides the warzone and floats through kush clouds as she rolls out her latest project <em>AZEB<\/em>, and Zombie-Chang breaks out the crochet hook for the interlocking textures of &#8216;Granny Square&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Sleepy Hallow flips &#8216;The Chicken Wing Song&#8217; and winds up with some extra crispy baloney. Deem Spencer and Okay Kaya take a trip through life and wonder whether to eat some wedding cake or pass the sick bucket. Sara Bug heads back to her adopted home of Nashville, Medhane can&#8217;t wait for the rain to come on <em>Amethyst of Morning<\/em>, and Melina Duterte of Jay Som and Ellen Kempner of Palehoud band together, sip tea, and share in some of the toxicity of fandom on the opener from <em>Doomin&#8217; Sun<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Danish duo Vanessa Amara linger lightly over tape loops and acoustic feedback. Half Waif breaks through the buildup of salt and nicotine on the latest song from <em>Mythopoetics<\/em>. Squirrel Flower makes a constellation of cobblestone streets on the fiery &#8216;Flames and Flat Tires&#8217;.&nbsp;Oh Baby take on the uptempo disco icon Patrick Cowley.
