The third and final part of this short series showing something of Umeå in the long winter months, and while installments one and two were set in the heart of the Västerbotten metropolis, featuring ice sculptures, slides, log fires, neon lights, reindeer, and fireworks all within the confines of the city itself, the twenty-two images here stray further afield and present an almost unfettered white canvas.
Getting up close with the frost, they pass through Umeå University, its central Lindellhallen and library, and nearby IKSU sport, before progressing towards Nydalasjön, Kinabron, and Olle Fiskares väg, making for a perfectly pleasant walk in all seasons.
